Krause House is a passive solar house in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, designed by LEA in 2003. It incorporated differential glazing, super-insulation, and adaptable-building approaches. On average, it uses one quarter cord of firewood per year to heat.

North Mountain House

North Mountain House was a design-build project that took place in the mid 1990s and incorporated extremely high levels of insulation and passive solar orientation.
